the server fetches the latest HYPE price data from HyperLiquid's API the moment you start. your unique session seed is locked in. nobody else has this exact track.

terrain built
price movements are mapped to terrain height. candles from the chart become obstacles. the steeper the price action, the harder the ride. 1000 meters of it.

tap to jump (RETAIL) or hold to charge, release to launch (DEGEN). one life. no checkpoints. no continues. reach 1000 meters and you win — with your chosen mode shaping every second of the ride.

in DEGEN mode: hold space (or tap and hold) to charge your jump. the longer you hold, the higher you fly. release at full charge for maximum height. a small bar under your rider shows charge level. in RETAIL mode: a single tap fires a maximum-height jump instantly — no hold required.

MID-AIR CHARGE
in DEGEN mode, you don't have to be on the ground to charge. start holding mid-air and your jump fires automatically the moment you land. this lets you chain jumps across multiple candles without touching the ground between them. mastering it is the difference between 300m and 700m.

every 100 meters, your speed increases by 10%. by 500m you're moving 50% faster than at the start. at 1000m the escalation hits ×2.0. base speed also depends on your mode — RETAIL is the slowest, DEGEN is noticeably faster, GOD MODE is the fastest.

CANDLE OBSTACLES
red candlesticks from the price chart spawn on the track. you need to jump over them. clear a candle cleanly and it turns teal — that's your score. miss it and it's over. no second chances.

server-side terrain seed
the track is generated server-side using a unique hash of your wallet, attempt ID, timestamp, and a secret. you never see the terrain before you start. you can't prepare a replay. scripts can't predict what's coming.
replay verification
every run is validated by replaying it independently server-side using stored inputs and the terrain seed. impossible reaction times, mechanical patterns, or timing anomalies are automatically flagged.
real market = unpredictable terrain
HYPE price volatility makes every track irregular by nature. no script can hardcode a response to it. the same mechanic that makes the game interesting makes it bot-resistant by default.
the game doesn't need to be unbreakable.

breaking it just has to be less profitable than playing it. that's a very different problem — and a much easier one to solve.

the real chart as terrain is the biggest protection. volatility is unpredictable. irregular. impossible to hardcode. that's the architecture.

the run ends. immediately. no health bar, no warning. you see your stats — distance, candles cleared, time alive — and you can restart immediately. the harshness is intentional. one life means every run counts.
yes — reach 1000 meters in a single continuous run and you win. a win screen fires with your stats, a shareable screenshot, and a tweet button. all three modes have a 1000m goal. in GOD MODE, the win text is slightly different — because getting there means something more than just surviving.
Survive to earn is not pay to win, not a deposit scheme, and not gambling. You earn status and on-chain achievements by playing well, and the core game stays free. Optional paid modes or extras may come later, but skill is what earns you status, not money.
Reaching distance milestones (200m, 300m, 500m, 750m, 1000m) earns you on-chain achievements tied to your wallet that prove you made it. Earned by skill, not bought. This is in development and rolling out in stages.
because it's DEGEN. you'll need to hold space to charge your jump, so say goodbye to your fingers. the upside: you can charge mid-air and chain jumps across multiple candles. the downside: everything is faster, taller, and less forgiving. it's a different skill set entirely.
